Orientation
This introduction to the program will provide
you with a broad, yet thorough, overview of the
program while illustrating the potential
available to you. In preparation for your
orientation, interns are required to submit a
sample, recorded audiotape of the progressive
relaxation script from the #101 manual. During
the orientation a target completion date will be
established.
For DIs (Distance Interns) this
consultation will be conducted over the
telephone.

Enneagram evaluation and
assessment to determine your strengths and decompensation
tendencies.
This evaluation is a valuable personal aid to
help you make decisions and determine your most
productive and satisfying career path to take in
hypnotherapy. This testing will take several
hours and is followed by an interview and
in-depth consultation with one of our
instructors. This evaluation is done first as
it establishes the overall approach to your
internship.
For DIs this test and in-depth
consultation will be conducted over the phone.
We have a toll-free phone for use during
internship for DIs.

International Association of
Medical and Therapeutic Specialists as a
Registered Therapist.

Receive a letter template on a CD for a
professionally written confirmation of a client
appointment. This format has proven itself over
years of use to prevent "No-Shows." Just insert
your name and send it to clients right after you
set their appointment.

Client Bill of Rights (CBOR)
template
A template on a CD of a CBOR that will enable
you to just fill in the blanks to send to your
clients before their appointment. Our trainer will assist you in the preparation
of your personal CBOR.

Learn the use of S.O.A.P. notes
This is the system used by medical and mental
health professionals in keeping accurate records
of their clients. This system is also used in
Medical Hypnotism. Use of S.O.A.P. notes is the
best method in corresponding with medical and
mental health professionals regarding their
patient's condition and in the event your
records are ever required in any official
proceedings.

Practice in use of all professional forms and
their proper application
You'll practice the use of all necessary forms
and be guided in their use on your actual
clients. Practice in the skilled use of the
BASIC, client intake, and post session review
forms will be covered sufficiently to the level
of comfortable utilization. DIs will complete
this portion via video and the mail.

Additional training in physical depth-testing
Fine-tune your ability to do physical
depth-testing. You'll practice the use of all
six depth tests until you have complete comfort
and confidence in their use. This is a vital
backup to the use of electronics and proficiency
in their use is the sign of a true professional.
DIs will review this by video and then videotape
their own depth-testing for review by us.

Training in computerized depth-testing
Receive complete personal training in the use of
electronic hardware and software with actual
clients for depth-testing during sessions. You
will also learn how to print and create computer
files of a client’s session results.
|
|
|
|
|
Training in computerized trance
music creation (hardware and
software)
Complete training in using software for creating
your own trance music—no need to ever pay
royalties for music used in creating your tapes.
You’ll have opportunities to create your own
trance music and record it on tape up to four
hours.
DIs will learn this by video.
|
|
|
Conduct supervised client intakes
At the Leidecker Institute - the Alternative
Practitioner Academy, you will be supervised
as you complete client intakes, interviews, and
pre-talks. You will have an opportunity to
practice enough of these procedures to feel, and
be, fully competent in its performance.
DIs will
watch this on video and then will send us their
own demonstration of this being done with a
volunteer for our review and critique.

Conduct supervised client sessions
- at our office - no need to
worry about renting space
You will be supervised as you conduct
hypnotherapy sessions with clients for a variety
of presenting problems. You will have an
opportunity to conduct a sufficient number of
sessions to gain complete comfort and confidence
with the protocol and clients.
DIs will review
videotaped sessions and discuss these sessions
by phone and internet.

Conduct supervised client post-session reviews
- at our office
You will conduct supervised post-session reviews
of individual clients and groups. Learn how to
construct the clients next session based on
their experience, and how to work with groups
from session to session.
DIs will study this by
video and discuss it by phone and internet. |
